Samsung 990 PRO flagship SSD confirmed support for PCIe 5.0 x4

The Samsung 990 PRO SSD has appeared on the PCI-SIG website and confirmed support for PCIe 5.0 x4 (32GT/s).

This coincides with previous speculation. Previously, it was believed that the Samsung 990 PRO would not have PCIe 4.0 version, but directly upgraded to PCIe 5.0.

At present, Samsung's flagship SSD is the benchmark against it, the 980 PRO PCIe 4.0 version of the certified model is MZ-V8P1T00, the current National Bank preferential price is 999 yuan.

It is known that PCIe 5.0 SSDs have the common 2280 specification, the widened 2580 specification, and the lengthened and widened 25110 specification. The specifications of the Samsung 990 PRO have not yet been decided.
